kegg is a medical fertility tracker designed to help women maximize their chances of conception through its sensing of cervical fluid. Following a daily reading – which takes only two minutes to complete – kegg will send your data to the cloud for analysis. In real-time, the device connects to a FREE mobile app which displays daily fertility status, cyclical trends, and fertility predictions.

Is kegg right for me:
kegg is best suited for women that:

  • Are trying to get pregnant
  • Have regular ovulatory cycles, 21-40 days in length
  • Off hormonal birth control nor IUD and their ovulatory cycles have returned
  • Are at least 6 weeks postpartum and have had at least 2 menstrual cycles beyond 6 weeks postpartum.

How do I read and interpret my kegg readings?

kegg is an intuitive fertility tracker that measures changes in electrolyte levels of cervical mucus —the golden metric to pinpointing your fertile window within each menstrual cycle. By using advanced sensing technology known as impedance, kegg can detect your fertile window using your unique cycle data.

Following the daily reading, which takes around 2-3 minutes, kegg will send your kegg data to the cloud for analysis. In real-time, the device connects to a mobile app that displays your reading’s results, cyclical trends, and fertility predictions. With consistent, once a day use, you will gain deeper insight into your own unique fertility pattern.

Does kegg work for women diagnosed with PCOS?

There are stories of women with PCOS who successfully conceived thanks to the help of kegg data. However, these women rely on the interpretation of their own data if their cycles are not within the 21-40 day range or are highly irregular. kegg has not been clinically tested in women with PCOS and cannot give fertile window predictions for women whose cycle lengths are 40 days or greater. If you choose to use kegg and have irregular cycles due to PCOS (or other hormonal imbalances), kegg’s fertile window predictions may not be accurate (and will not be present if cycles are 40 days or longer).

Many women with PCOS choose to use kegg trend line data (available through the mobile app) to self-identify their fertile window. Just as there can be several LH surges throughout the cycle in women with PCOS, users may be able to spot these potentially fertile windows looking at the trend data.

Can I use kegg as a natural contraceptive method?

kegg is not recommended as a contraceptive device. kegg can be used as a complementary tool to your preferred fertility awareness-based method (FABM). The kegg algorithm is not to be used as a birth control tool. The kegg algorithm has not been designed nor tested for pregnancy prevention. You can use kegg data and trends to compliment your own primary choice of fertility awareness method.
